Dear Family and Friends,
We have a
ton to share with you! The Lord has answered so many of our prayers.
First,
the Lord has provided all the funds needed for Carl to go on his trip this July.
Thank you to all who have financially supported this first trip to Cameroon,
Africa and to those of you who hold us up in prayer. Carl leaves Monday, July 7th
and returns Tuesday, August 5th. Oh, boy am I going to miss my
husband, but I know God will provide comfort through all the different family
members I will get to visit while he is gone.
Second, I (Taylor) applied to
return to College of the Ozarks to finish my B.S. Horticulture degree. I had an
interview last Wednesday, June 18th and with much joy and rejoicing
Monday, June 23rd I received an acceptance letter from the College
to start school this Fall of 2014. I have approximately 25 credits left until I
graduate. I am in high hopes to graduate May 2015 before Carl and I go long
term overseas in the summer of 2015.
Third,
our bun in the oven will be 16 weeks old this Friday, June 27th. In
which, Carl and I will go to our FIRST sonogram appointment here in Clay
Center, KS. Our little one will be due around December 12th. Our
Heavenly Father is so sweet to have the baby born so close to winter break. I
might need to make some arrangements to take my finals early but I will be off
for Christmas break from December 18th- January 12th!
Lastly,
since the Lord has opened the door for me to return to College of the Ozarks in
Branson, MO; Carl and I this Monday, June 30th will be moving out of
our apartment in Clay Center, KS. We will be moving away from our first home as
an Anderson Couple. We will move our things into a storage unit in Branson, MO
until Carl returns from Cameroon, Africa in August. College starts for me in
late August and Carl returns from his trip in early August so we will move into
an apartment and get settled before classes start. Carl is currently seeking
different job opportunities in the Branson, MO area for work.
We
needed God’s financial provision and he provided. We needed God’s direction for
my schooling and he opened the door for me to finish my degree. We needed a
light schedule around the baby’s arrival and our little one will come in the
least busy time for me because I will be off from school for almost a month. Our
Lord cares about the big and small things. We heard God’s call for us to go to
Africa and we have been responding in faith. We see his direction continually
unfolding as Carl goes on this first trip and in all the other areas of our
lives.
Philippians 1:6 And I
am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to
completion at the day of Jesus Christ.
Love in Christ,
The Anderson’s
